This is because the cream tastes artificial and is an unnecessary source of sugar. In fact, science suggests that the high-sugar and high fat in Oreos with the cream are flat-out addictive. Hence, Oreos without cream can be deemed healthier than those with cream.

A cookie with the filling has over 53 calories, 8.3 grams of carbs, 0.67 grams of protein, and 2.3 grams of fat. 

Conversely, Oreos without cream have 20 calories with 8 grams of carbs, 1 gram of fat, and 0 grams of protein. Therefore, the calories in Oreo without cream can be broken down into 78% carbs, 22% fat, and 0% protein.
