I recommend slicing your summer sausage about 1/4 inch thick for even cooking and fuss-free flipping. If you find it more comfortable, use a mandoline slicer to get perfect slices every time!

Heat up the oil in the pot or skillet over medium heat until it begins to shimmer. This ensures that the outside won’t cook too quickly while leaving the inside raw.  

You can use any type of cooking oil like vegetable, canola, coconut, sunflower, or olive oil. My favorite pick is definitely olive oil!

Put the sausage slices in, and fry them. Turn them over after two minutes and cook for another two minutes until all sides are crispy and golden brown.

Step 3: Serving

Use tongs to remove each piece from the pot of hot oil once they’re done cooking, and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease.

How to Store It?
