The Simple Diet Pamela Anderson (59) Credits for Feeling Her Best

Pamela Anderson has spent more of her life avoiding meat than eating it. Decades before plant based eating became a mainstream talking point, she had already built her entire kitchen around it, and she has stayed remarkably consistent since.
The actual details of what fills her plate turn out to be a lot less complicated than the decades long commitment behind them. Here is what that looks like day to day.
Plant Based for Longer Than Some Fans Have Been Alive
Anderson has been vegetarian since her teenage years and fully vegan since her early twenties, putting her plant based streak at roughly three decades and counting. She has also spent close to thirty years working alongside PETA on animal rights causes.
That kind of consistency is rare in an industry known for chasing whatever diet trend is popular that year. For Anderson, it reads less like a wellness phase and more like a baseline she never really left.
The Actual Plate Stays Fairly Simple
Despite the decades behind it, her day to day eating is not especially complicated. She has described leaning heavily on fruits and vegetables prepared raw, grilled or steamed, along with Buddha bowls, smoothies and a rotating cast of salads.
“I became vegetarian for compassionate reasons,” she told HollywoodLife, adding that the health benefits turned out to be even better than she expected. The motivation started with animals, but the physical payoff turned into its own reason to stick with it.
A Narrow Window for Eating
Anderson has also talked about following a fairly strict eating schedule, restricting meals to a specific window between ten in the morning and six at night. She has said the structure leaves her feeling more energized than eating on a looser schedule.
She has paired that schedule with a vitamin regimen designed by a doctor, on top of an otherwise plant based plate. None of it reads as extreme, more like a routine she has settled into over time.
Small New Habits Keep Getting Added
Even after three decades of eating this way, Anderson keeps tweaking small pieces of her routine. She recently planted a tea garden specifically to help cut back on coffee, admitting a strong cortado with oat milk remains her one weakness each morning.
She has also taken up baking her own sourdough and continues experimenting with plant based versions of family recipes she grew up with. The willingness to keep adjusting, even this many years in, seems to be part of why the routine has lasted as long as it has.
None of it depends on rare ingredients or a strict rulebook, just fruits, vegetables and a schedule she has kept for the better part of thirty years. Sometimes the simplest routine really is the one that sticks.
