Nature’s Rancher Uncured Ham is one of my go-to solutions when preparing a feast for myself and my loved ones. It is delicious, easy to work with, and very easy to pair. Since this juicy meat is a delight to pair, it is always great to have some extra ideas on preparing and serving Nature’s Rancher Uncured Ham.

I know it is the centerpiece of many of my dinner parties. To make your gathering the event of the season, take a look at the ideas I’ve given you below on how to prepare and serve Nature’s Rancher ham.

What to Make with Nature Rancher Uncured Ham?

In my opinion, baking ham, making ham sandwiches or ham and cheese quiche, creating ham and vegetable stir-fry, serving ham with potato, making ham skewers, ham salad, or pairing ham with veggies are the best ways to serve your Nature’s Rancher Uncured Ham. But, let’s quickly see how to make these ideas happen.

Baked Ham

If you don’t feel particularly creative, the simplest yet incredibly delicious and effective way to prepare your ham is to simply bake it. Since Nature’s Rancher Uncured Ham comes pre-cooked, it won’t take you too long to bake it.

Add a cup of water to the baking pan and cover the ham with foil to make it even juicier. Bake it at 325 °F for 20-something minutes per pound. Once it’s done, glaze it with balsamic crème, or make a honey and orange juice glaze and gently smear it when you remove the foil.

Cooked this way, you can serve your ham on a lettuce bed, with fresh herbs on top for a visual effect and a splash of color.

Ham Sandwiches

Since you don’t have to do anything to this ham to enjoy a juicy meal, here’s an amazing idea! For those days when you need a quick meal on the go or an easy lunch, ham sandwiches are the best way to make it happen.

You only need to slice the ham into thin slices and place it snugly between two slices of soft bread. I usually smear cream cheese on the bread slices and place ham, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes between the buns. You can also add a pickle or two or olive chunks or a perfect sauce for some umami.

Ham and Cheese Quiche

If you’re into French cooking, you can always make a ham and cheese quiche. The procedure can’t be easier, and all you need to do is add chopped ham to the rest of the quiche ingredients.

No other adjustments are needed, and you can go on making the quiche as you normally would. I love this combo for the smoky effect the ham gives to the quiche, making it meaty, delicious, and vibrant.

Ham and Vegetable Stir-Fry

If you don’t know what to prepare with this ham, add it to a veggie stir-fry. Stir fries are the first thing I do when I just can’t think of a tasty dish I want to try. So, if you feel peckish but not very imaginative, this is the solution you’ve been looking for.

I like to mix some asparagus, green beans, onion rings, corn, and green peppers and add the ham at the end. You can also add some mushrooms or anything else you like. The ham will release juiciness and fattiness, making your stir-fry taste even more delicious than you can imagine.

Ham and Potato

Ham-Stuffed PotatoesPin

Potatoes are the best pair for your Nature’s Rancher Uncured Ham if you are a fan of the old classics. You can have them in any form, starting from mashed to roasted, to fried and stuffed.

I must admit that ham-stuffed potatoes are my favorite. I mix ham, sour cream, mushrooms, and herbs, and I stuff the empty potato halves. I then top the ham filling with the other halves and let them bake.

If you don’t like ham-filled potato halves, you can always bake the ham and potatoes together, make mashed potatoes, or French fries.

Ham Salad

I am simply in love with ham salad. The best thing about ham salad is that it goes with almost all salad ingredients. You can add it to green salads, cream salads, vegetable salads, or some fancier tropical salad dishes.

To my surprise, the Nature’s Rancher uncured ham is an excellent addition to crab salad. So, whatever you decide goes.

Also, if you happen to have some leftovers you won’t be using so soon, you can always freeze them. So you can have a meal ready in your freezer!

Ham and Veggies

This is another idea where you don’t have to be creative to prepare a delicious meal. You can use the grill or the oven for this idea and still get a finger-licking dish. All you need to do is slice the ham and throw it on the grill.

Surround it with veggies of your choice, such as eggplant, zucchini, green peppers, onion rings, or mushrooms, and enjoy the simplicity and deliciousness of your meal.
