How Kanye West (47) Feeds His Kids When They’re With Him

Kanye West is not exactly known for keeping things low key, and it turns out that even something as simple as feeding his kids comes with its own set of surprises. Between paparazzi photos and old interviews, a pretty clear picture has formed of what happens when North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm sit down to eat with their dad.
It is a mix of convenience, indulgence, and the occasional fine dining moment.
Snack Runs Make the Cut
Sometimes the most memorable meals are not meals at all. During a trip to Tokyo, West was spotted with three of his children ducking into a convenience store in the Ginza district, where the kids grabbed bags of snacks.
It was a low key moment that felt more relatable than most celebrity outings. No fancy restaurant, no reservations, just a quick stop for chips and candy before continuing on with their day.
A Personal Chef Handles the Fancier Meals
When the family is not grabbing snacks on the go, there is apparently a much more elevated option waiting at home. West has reportedly relied on a personal chef who follows a keto style approach, whipping up dishes like French toast casserole and jerk chicken, and even compares the job of cooking for him to painting on a canvas.
That same report notes that on afternoons off, West likes taking his kids to the park or to a kid friendly restaurant, suggesting mealtime with dad can swing wildly between gourmet and casual depending on the day.
Family Dinners Still Happen
Despite years of public custody drama, West has made a point of showing up for actual sit down dinners with all four kids. In Paris, he took North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm out to the restaurant Ferdi for a family meal, with photos capturing the group leaving together afterward.
Interestingly, West’s approach to feeding children has not always stayed casual. His own school, Donda Academy, came under scrutiny after a lawsuit alleged that students there were served a strict sushi only diet.
At the end of the day, feeding four kids on a global stage looks a lot like feeding any other family, just with more cameras around. Snacks, chefs, and the occasional splurge dinner all seem to make an appearance, proving that even a superstar dad sticks to the basics when it counts.
