Bubblegum Cupcakes Recipe From Scratch

bubblegum cupcakes recipe from scratch

This is a favorite with the kids. Bubblegum cupcakes are fun and different. I wasn’t too sure about them to start with as they kinda look a little odd, but since they are a hit with the kids I decided to include them on this site. I had to start the recipe from scratch and hence the name Bubblegum Cupcakes Recipe From Scratch

Here is another shot of them with my favorite plate that I used for Bumblee cupcakes and SpongeBoB Patrick Cupcakes – The bubblegum is actually Frosting Creations Bubble Gum Flavor for the frosting. The blue cupcakes base is actually blue food colouring with a vanilla base.

I spent Sunday afternoon writing this up for you, and found it just as enjoyable to eat…. ahh with a cup of hot coffee or green tea for the more health conscious.

I used the enhance features on photoshop to deepen the colours, but still not too happy with the results. Could be alot better. Oh well practice makes perfect as they say.

I’m Julie. This is where my love of cupcakes, digital photography as well as writing comes to life! How did this recipe thing all begin? In November of 2012, I made the decision that I needed to keep a log of my recipes, so I started a simple recipe blog. This beautiful collection of cupcakes and cafe delights continues to grow every week and I can’t wait to see where it is 5 years down the road. My grandma encouraged all of my baking. At family gatherings with well over 250 individuals the midst of absolutely no where, she consistently was able to create perfect cherry cobblers along with other goodies for dessert over the campfire. It seemed to be like magic for me.
