Billie Eilish does not have children, and by her own admission, she is not entirely sure she is ready for what parenting will actually feel like. Still, that has not stopped her from thinking through exactly how she wants to raise them.

Between interviews and podcast appearances, she has quietly laid out a set of standards for her future kids that go far beyond the usual celebrity soundbites. Some of them sound less like hopes and more like firm rules already in place.

No Plastic Surgery, So Her Face Still Matches Theirs

While most people weigh cosmetic procedures against beauty trends, Eilish has framed her decision around something else entirely. During an appearance on the podcast Good Hang, she explained that she wants to let her face and body age naturally instead of altering them.

Her reasoning centers on her future children specifically, since she wants them to be able to look at her and see their own features reflected back. Aging naturally, in her view, keeps that resemblance intact instead of erasing it with procedures.

Already Bracing for the Days They Won’t Listen

Eilish has also gotten surprisingly honest about the harder emotional side of parenting before she has even started. In a wide ranging interview, she admitted to worrying about how she will react the day her future kids want to do something she strongly disagrees with.

She has acknowledged that they likely will not always listen to her, no matter how much she plans ahead. Rather than pretending she will have it all figured out, she has been upfront that confidence, not control, is what she is counting on to get her through it.

Growing up in the United States during an era of repeated school shootings has clearly shaped how Eilish thinks about her future children’s education. She has openly questioned why going to school should ever come with fear attached in the first place.

That concern is not just an abstract talking point for her, it is tied directly to decisions she may make as a parent one day. It suggests school safety will weigh heavily on how she eventually decides to educate her own kids.

The Homeschool Childhood She Might Repeat

Eilish’s own upbringing offers a pretty big clue about where some of these instincts come from. Both she and her brother Finneas were educated at home until they turned fifteen, a setup her parents built around their creative pursuits rather than a traditional classroom.
