Scroll through enough celebrity wellness content and you’ll start noticing the same small, beige, slightly boring looking snack showing up again and again.

It’s not a fifty dollar smoothie or a powder shipped from some influencer’s garage, it’s something probably sitting in your pantry right now, and apparently half of Hollywood swears by it for skin that looks years younger.

Here’s the surprisingly simple snack everyone keeps reaching for.

The Science Behind the Hype

Almonds are loaded with vitamin E, a nutrient known for helping skin retain moisture and repair itself, which is part of why dermatologists keep bringing them up.

Researchers at the University of California even found that daily almond consumption was linked to less severe facial wrinkles in postmenopausal women, which is about as close to a real anti aging study as snack food gets.

It Started With One Famous Snack Drawer

Meghan Markle has openly credited her go to handful of almonds for keeping her skin glowing and healthy during her years on Suits, crediting the habit alongside other gluten free swaps.

Now Half of Hollywood Is Doing It Too

Dancer Derek Hough has said his all time favorite snack is a simple handful of almonds, even after trying cashews and macadamias along the way.

Track star Sha’Carri Richardson keeps things just as straightforward, reaching for almonds and peanuts between training sessions instead of anything more complicated.

Nobody’s claiming a handful of almonds will erase a decade off your face. But when this many famously photographed people keep reaching for the same humble snack, it might be worth grabbing a bag yourself.
