Pamela Anderson has spent the last several years doing something genuinely rare in Hollywood, aging in front of cameras without makeup or cosmetic procedures. Fans and critics alike have called it one of the more striking transformations in recent memory.

Anderson herself credits a lot of it to something far less dramatic than any skincare routine. Her diet, which has stayed remarkably consistent for roughly three decades, plays a bigger role than most people assume.

None of it involves anything exotic or expensive. Here is the plant based approach Anderson has followed for years, and how it fits into her broader approach to aging.

Three Decades Of Eating This Way

Anderson has been vegetarian since her teens and fully vegan since her early twenties, according to a report from Plant Based News. She has also worked with the animal rights organization PETA for nearly three decades.

“I became vegetarian for compassionate reasons,” Anderson told HollywoodLife in an exclusive interview, though she has said the health benefits turned out to be a genuine bonus. She has described the diet as supporting healthy blood flow and steady energy.

That consistency is part of what makes her approach notable. Plenty of celebrities cycle through diets by the season, while Anderson has stuck with essentially the same one since long before it was fashionable.

What Actually Fills Her Plate

Anderson leans heavily on fruits and vegetables prepared simply, whether raw, grilled or steamed. She has said she loves building Buddha bowls and smoothies, along with an ever rotating lineup of salads and homemade dressings.

Her kitchen staples reflect the same simplicity, good olive oil, fresh herbs, vinegars and nutritional yeast among her regular go tos. She has also leaned into home cooking more broadly, publishing her own cookbook and hosting a cottagecore style cooking show filmed at her home in Canada.

The Rest Of The Equation

Diet is only part of how Anderson approaches aging these days. She spends real time gardening and cooking at home, activities she has described as central to how she actually relaxes, according to Coveteur.

She has also said skincare stays simple, favoring basic natural products like coconut oil over elaborate routines, in comments to TODAY. Rejecting cosmetic procedures altogether has become as much a part of her public identity as the diet itself.

Anderson’s approach to aging was never built around a single trick or product. It comes down to a genuinely simple formula, plants, a garden, home cooked meals, and letting the rest happen naturally.
