Air Fryer Zucchini Fries Recipe

Equipment

  • 3 Bowls or trays
  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting Board

Ingredients  

  • 1 zucchini
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs, 80 g
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 40 g
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/5 teaspoon pepper
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions 

  • Cut the zucchini into sticks approximately 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick.
  • In one bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Dip the zucchini sticks in the egg mixture, then coat them in the breadcrumb mixture, and repeat.
  • Arrange the coated sticks on an air fryer rack or a lined baking sheet if using an oven.
  • If using an air fryer, cook at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, turning halfway through. In the oven, they may need a few extra minutes.
  • Serve with your choice of dipping sauce.
