The Surprising Foods Tom Holland (30) Loves

Tom Holland has spent nearly a decade swinging through skyscrapers as Spider-Man, but away from the movie sets, his actual daily routine looks a lot more down to earth. Fans who follow him closely have picked up on a pattern that says a lot about the man behind the mask.
It turns out his everyday meals and his biggest food confessions reveal a much more relatable side of the actor. Keep scrolling to see exactly what fills his plate, and what he still refuses to touch.
A Morning Habit That Keeps Him Grounded
Most mornings start the same simple way for Holland. He reaches for a warm bowl of porridge, topped with fruit and nuts, followed by a protein shake to help set the tone for the day.
His partner Zendaya plays a bigger role in his food choices than people might expect. She follows a vegetarian diet, and Holland has openly admitted that it means he ends up eating a lot more vegetables than he otherwise would, calling it a happy side effect of their relationship.
The Comfort Food He Cannot Quit
Ask him about his ultimate weakness and the answer is refreshingly ordinary. Macaroni and cheese has been named as one of his all time favorite comfort foods, a dish he even picked up extra tips on during a private cooking lesson with director Joe Russo.
That same lesson introduced him to something he had somehow never tried before. Holland had eaten pumpkin seeds plenty of times, but had never tasted actual pumpkin until that day, and he joked to Fox News that it was “hard that I’m starting with probably the best pumpkin I’ll ever have.”
His Go To Order Says It All
When he wants comfort without much thinking involved, he heads straight for a familiar favorite. His regular Nando’s order is a half chicken with medium spice, salted chips and a pitta, a combination he has stuck with for years.
Filming abroad has its perks too. While shooting ‘The Odyssey’ in Italy, Holland found himself returning to the same fiery pepperoni pizza spot again and again, turning one local pizzeria into his personal home base for the entire shoot.
One Food He Refuses To Even Try
Not everything gets his approval though. During a joint interview with his ‘The Odyssey’ co-star Matt Damon, Holland named corn dogs as the worst American food he could think of.
The twist is that he admitted he has never actually eaten one, judging it purely on appearance and reputation. When the conversation flipped to British food, he was just as blunt, pointing to jellied eel as proof that his home country does not always get cuisine right.
For a global superhero, Tom Holland’s food world is refreshingly simple, built on porridge, peri peri chicken and a healthy dose of honesty about the dishes he just cannot get behind.
