Picture trying to plan just one Thanksgiving dinner without chaos breaking out. Now imagine doing that for twelve kids spread across six different households.

Nick Cannon somehow makes it work, and his actual game plan is way more entertaining than you would expect.

A Holiday Built Around A Full Stomach

Cannon opened up about his Thanksgiving hustle while volunteering at the L.A. Mission charity event, telling People that his schedule that day was nothing short of chaotic. He admitted he has “a bunch of dinners” lined up across multiple homes just to make sure every one of his kids gets face time with dad on the holiday.

It sounds exhausting on paper, but Cannon seemed genuinely thrilled about the food waiting for him at each stop. He explained that by the time the day wraps up, he is “going to be full by the end of the day,” and honestly, who could blame him with that many dinner tables to hit.

Everybody’s Got A Signature Dish

Here is where things get genuinely fun. Cannon revealed in that same exclusive interview that each household has basically claimed its own specialty, turning his holiday circuit into an unofficial potluck tour. “Everybody specializes in certain things,” he said, pointing out that “some people got good sweet potato pie, some people got amazing fried turkey.”

That kind of specialization means Cannon always knows exactly where to go for his favorite dish. He put it simply, saying he knows “every house that needs to have the things” he really likes, which honestly sounds like the ultimate holiday cheat code.

The Secret Really Is Just Showing Up

At the core of it all, Cannon’s approach to feeding his massive family boils down to one thing, actually being present at every table. Rather than picking one household to celebrate with, he treats the day like a marathon of love, food, and family stops.

It might not be the neat, single dinner table most families picture for the holidays, but it works for his. Multiple stomachs, multiple homes, and apparently more pie and turkey than one man should reasonably attempt in a single afternoon.

At the end of the day, feeding a family this big was never going to look conventional, and Cannon seems perfectly fine with that. Sometimes the best holiday memories come from hopping between kitchens, tasting everyone’s best dish, and calling it dinner.
