The actress continues to look genuinely, almost frustratingly radiant, and the explanation might be sitting in your grocery store right now. But what exactly is she sipping that the rest of us keep overlooking?

During an Extra interview, Hayek revealed the surprising cornerstone of her anti-aging routine. She slow-cooks cow bones for many hours, adds a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and drinks a cup a day of the resulting elixir.

“I embrace fat, the good fats, this is very important, and I make a bone broth. It’s full of collagen,” she explained.

Why Bone Broth, of All Things?

She has said it helps restructure the tissues for skin, hair, and nails, all thanks to its collagen content. And she is not entirely wrong to be excited about it.

Bone broth is rich in essential nutrients like protein and collagen, as well as vitamins and minerals that keep you healthy. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, and its structure helps strengthen skin, bones, muscles, and tendons.

More Than Just the Pot on the Stove

Bone broth is only part of Hayek’s strategy. She also eats a lot of nuts, believing that the right fats can keep you young for a long time.
