For most of her career, Kate Moss was the last person anyone expected to discuss meditation schedules and wild swimming routines. That changed somewhere during the pandemic, and the result is a version of her that looks, by most accounts, genuinely well. The shift was not accidental. It was intentional, built practice by practice, and it started with something as basic as finally learning to eat properly.

The Transformation That Changed Everything

The Kate Moss of recent years is unrecognizably different in her daily habits from the one the public knew for decades. She began meditating every morning, took up Pilates seriously enough to buy a Cadillac Reformer for her home, and started wild swimming regularly.

“The cold water is so invigorating and clears my head,” she explained in one interview. She has described the overall shift as “transformational” and says she wanted to feel more in control and more grounded in herself.

She Finally Learned to Eat Properly

In a Vogue interview, Moss told Vogue that nobody had ever taught her vegetables were necessary for proper nutrition, and that realisation came with real weight behind it. Now vegetables and balanced home-cooked meals sit at the center of how she fuels herself.

Her closest friend, nutritionist Rosemary Ferguson, consulted on her Cosmoss wellness brand and remains a key part of how she thinks about food and health.

The Cold Water Ritual

One of Moss’s most consistent skin habits has nothing to do with products. She plunges her face into a bowl of iced water filled with cucumber slices first thing in the morning, saying it instantly tightens and depuffs.

She follows it with a few drops of face oil worked in with a gua sha stone. The whole ritual takes minutes but she has relied on it for years.

The Brand She Built From Her Own Garden

Cosmoss, her vegan wellness and beauty line, grew directly out of what she was already doing at home in the Cotswolds. The herbal morning and evening tea blends came from her own daily rituals.

Several products were formulated on her kitchen table. For the first time, she was channeling personal habits into something designed to share with other people, and every product in the range reflects the version of her life that now actually exists.

Moss describes her approach simply: exercise, diet, and great products working together rather than any one thing carrying all the weight. That combination, built gradually over years of deliberate and very personal change, is what she points to whenever anyone asks about her skin.
