In a 2022 episode of ‘The Kardashians,’ Jenner confidently told Kris Jenner she was just going to chop up some cucumber for a snack. What followed was a kitchen maneuver so baffling it broke the internet. She held the cucumber with her left hand twisted awkwardly across her body while attempting to slice with her right arm folded underneath.
Jenner herself agreed with the chaos online, retweeting a fan’s post about the clip with just one word: “Tragic.”
She Owns It, Fully
Rather than hiding from the moment, Jenner leaned in hard. She posted a photo of a cucumber and a knife on her Instagram Story, captioning it “Here we go again.” Then, for Halloween, she dressed up as a sliced cucumber.

But She Does Have a Specialty
Here is where it gets interesting. Jenner has openly said she does not cook much beyond her standard eggs, avocado, and toast in the mornings. But she has one dish she claims to make better than anyone else: fettuccine with peas.
The recipe comes together with sautéed onion, garlic, frozen peas, Parmesan, and a splash of pasta water. She says she could eat it every single meal, and honestly, the confidence is warranted.
Her Redemption Arc in the Kitchen
About a year after the cucumber disaster, Jenner appeared on Hailey Bieber’s series ‘What’s In My Kitchen?’ and sliced limes and avocados with complete ease. She even offered Hailey a tip on how to perfectly cut an avocado by rolling it first.
The girl clearly has more range than one viral clip suggests.
It Runs in the Family Now
In July 2025, Kylie Jenner posted a photo of her toddler Aire Webster attempting to chop a cucumber on a tiny plastic cutting board. The internet immediately spotted the family resemblance, and Kendall apparently found it just as funny as everyone else did.
So does Kendall Jenner know how to cook? Mostly yes, occasionally no, and always with enough self-awareness to make it entertaining. The fettuccine with peas, at least, sounds like something worth stealing.
