Margot Robbie’s (35) Diet Secrets for Glowing Skin and a Toned Body

From ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ to ‘Barbie’ and ‘Wuthering Heights’, Margot Robbie has never once looked anything less than radiant on screen. The question of what she is actually eating to sustain that glow is one the internet returns to regularly, and the honest answer is more interesting than a list of superfoods. Her relationship with food is part discipline, part chaos, and entirely relatable.

The Barbie Skin Protocol

For ‘Barbie’, Robbie worked closely with skin professional Jasmina Vico, whose approach to the cast’s complexions went well beyond topical treatments. Vico had Robbie drinking milk thistle tea daily to flush the liver and boost glutathione, a compound directly tied to skin luminosity and brightness.

She also loaded Robbie’s plate with fermented foods including sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir, and berries to improve gut health, crediting the approach with reducing stress in the body and accelerating the skin’s ability to heal.

What She Actually Eats Day to Day

Outside of film prep, Robbie’s day-to-day meals are grounded and unfussy. Mornings tend to start with porridge or a green smoothie, lunch is usually a chicken salad, and dinner leans on fish or tuna paired with vegetables or sweet potatoes.

When she needs to dial things back for a role, saturated fats, sugary drinks, and fast food get cut from the rotation.

When she is not dialing anything back, she makes no apologies for loving beer and burgers, having described herself openly as an extreme eater who swings between full indulgence and strict clean eating depending entirely on what her schedule demands. She has been remarkably unbothered by the contradiction.

The Sandwich That Said It All

The most revealing food moment of recent memory came from the set of ‘A Big Bold Beautiful Journey’, where co-star Colin Farrell introduced Robbie to an Irish chippy sandwich, a deceptively simple combination of Tayto Cheese and Onion crisps, Kerrygold butter, and white bread.

Farrell made one for her every morning, wrapped in foil and labeled with an “M” so it was ready before her call time. She ate one every single day on set and called it her favorite part of the entire job.

Her skin philosophy is equally straightforward, built around daily SPF, plenty of water, and enough sleep. No miracle ingredients, no elaborate protocol, just the basics kept consistently in place and a genuine willingness to eat a crisp sandwich whenever one appears in the fridge.
