Originally coming from Croatia, Mediterranean shrimp soup spread its flavors all across the Mediterranean. You can also find it by the name shrimp alla buzara.
1small canChopped tomatoesUse one store bought can or cut 1 1/2 fresh tomatoes.
3tbspMinced fresh parsley
Instructions
Wash the shrimps.
Pour olive oil into one pan and heat it up. When it's warm, add grated garlic, 2 tablespoons of minced parsley, tomatoes and wine.
When it starts to boil, add shrimp in and cook them for 15 minutes over low heat.
When shrimps are done, add the rest of the parsley and stir.
Notes
Serve Mediterranean shrimp soup with cornmeal, boiled potatoes or grilled slices of bread.Since you eat the shrimp with your hands, make sure you put one bowl with water and fresh lemon juice on the table. It will help you wash out the smell.Keep it refrigerated, and eat it within two days.
