Ingredients
  

  • 1 chicken breast 2 halves; boneless
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves grated
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper
  • For coating:
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken breast into several fillets to ensure even cooking. This step helps the chicken cook faster and more uniformly in the air fryer.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, grated garlic, oregano, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Add the chicken fillets to the mayonnaise mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Let the chicken marinate for at least 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. This will create a crunchy, cheesy crust for the chicken.
  • Take each marinated chicken fillet and coat it with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture. Press the coating onto the chicken to ensure it sticks well.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the coated chicken fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. The chicken should be golden brown and crispy.
  • If you’re using an oven, preheat to 400°F (200°C) and bake the chicken on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy this easy, delicious meal!
