1 Baking sheet
1 oven
1 mixing bowl
Basic Ingredients:
- 1 large zucchini
- 5.3 ounces ham
- 5.3 ounces sliced cheese like Gouda or Edam
Pizza Sauce for Zucchini Pizza Bites:
- ⅔ cup tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ⅔ teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- A pinch of salt and pepper
- A pinch of garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and start preparing your zucchini.
Thoroughly wash the zucchini, trim the ends, and slice it into rounds less than 0.4 inches thick.
On a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper, arrange the zucchini slices. They can touch each other to utilize more space.
Mix the listed sauce ingredients and spread the mixture over the zucchini rounds.
Place a piece or two of ham and a slice of cheese on each zucchini round.
Once all ingredients are used, bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before digging in. They taste best when warm. Enjoy!
