Equipment

  • 1 cake pan with removable bottom
  • 1 Double boiler
  • 1 Potato masher
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup ripe bananas
  • 12.3 ounces dark chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it over a double boiler.
  • Mash the bananas into a puree.
  • Combine the melted chocolate and banana puree, then transfer to a cake mold. Use a 6-8 inch mold for a taller cake or up to 9.5 inches for a thinner one.
  • Refrigerate the cake for several hours or overnight, and decorate with chocolate pieces or ganache before serving. Enjoy!
