1 round baking pan
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup sparkling mineral water
- 10.5 oz filo pastry sheets 300 g
- 1 lb cottage cheese 500 g
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
Make the Cheese Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, eggs, and salt. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
Layer the Filo Sheets:
Place one filo sheet in the pan, letting the excess hang over the edges. Brush it with the oil mixture.
Repeat with a second filo sheet.
On the third sheet, spread half of the cheese filling evenly over the surface.
Add More Layers:
Cover the filling with three more filo sheets, brushing each with the oil mixture.
On the third sheet, spread the remaining cheese filling.
