Ingredients
  

  • 1 Betty Crocker Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • 8 + 1/4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp apricot jam
  • 7 oz water or milk
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1 cup melted chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 356 °F
  • Grease tins and preferably line base with baking parchment or greaseproof paper.
  • Beat the eggs, water, oil, vanilla extract and cake mix until fully mixed.

  • Spread in two oiled and prepared pans.
  • Bake for 23 to 26 minutes.
  • At the end of baking, insert a knife into the cake. If the knife is clean, the cake is ready.
  • Spread apricot jam between two biscuits.
