- 1 Betty Crocker Devil's Food Cake Mix
- 8 + 1/4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp apricot jam
- 7 oz water or milk
- 3 medium eggs
- 1 cup melted chocolate
Preheat oven to 356 °F
Grease tins and preferably line base with baking parchment or greaseproof paper.
Beat the eggs, water, oil, vanilla extract and cake mix until fully mixed.
Spread in two oiled and prepared pans.
Bake for 23 to 26 minutes.
At the end of baking, insert a knife into the cake. If the knife is clean, the cake is ready.
