Ingredients

Strawberry Syrup

  • 8 oz Fresh Strawberries You can also use frozen strawberries, but the result will be better with fresh ones.
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Sugar

Strawberry Milk Tea

  • 1 cup Hot Water Use half of the cup per person.
  • 2 tea bags Green Tea or Black Tea
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 3 oz Jelly Bites

Instructions

Making Strawberry Syrup

  • Chop the strawberries.
  • Place the strawberries in a saucepan. Add half a cup of water and add the sugar.
  • Cook the strawberries until they soften and start turning into syrup. Cook at medium temperature and don’t rush the process.
  • Once the strawberries soften, gently press them with a fork until you get a pure-like mash.
  • Constantly stir the strawberries and adjust the water quantity by adding water if the mash gets too thick or if it starts to stick to the pan. The entire strawberry syrup should take about 30 minutes, but this largely depends on the stove and pan.
  • Once the strawberry syrup is done, strain it through a sieve to separate the strawberry mash from the liquid.
  • Press with a spoon or fork to make sure you get all of the syrup.
  • Once you’ve separated the syrup, let it sit at room temperature and chill for ten minutes.

Making Strawberry Milk Tea With Jelly Bites

  • Chop the jelly candies into small pieces.
  • Bring water near to the boiling point.
  • Pour water into two cups with tea bags inside. Let it sit there for five to ten minutes.
  • Take out the tea bag and let the tea chill naturally, and then put it in the fridge to get proper cold.
  • After the tea is properly chilled, which should take about 15 minutes, mix it with the milk.
  • Transfer the syrup and jelly candies mixture to the glass from which you will drink your strawberry milk tea.
  • The next step is to add the tea and milk mix to the syrup and candies.
  • Stir your strawberry milk tea and enjoy.

Notes

If you use strawberry powder, pour the milk, water, sugar, and strawberry powder into a blender and blend everything together. Add the teabag and the jelly bites, and you're done. This method is the simplest, but it's not as tasty as the original recipe.
On the counter, strawberry milk tea will be good for about an hour. That's why you need to place it in the fridge, so it would last for up to 24 hours.
