Ingredients
 
 

  • 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

Instructions
 

  • Leave butter at room temperature to soften.
  • Combine the softened butter/ pasteurized cream, chopped herbs, minced garlic, and fresh lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients homogenize into a single mixture. I have used a blender for this, and I've done it by hand; both methods work, but if you mix by hand, prepare for serious work.
  • In the end, add salt and pepper to taste and blend/mix again for the flavors to distribute equally and balance.
  • When you are all done, use a spoon to remove the mixture from the blender and place it into a suitable container. You can also use plastic wrap, place it onto it, and shape it into a ball.
  • Let the butter chill in the fridge for about an hour before using it. This will allow for the flavors to meld and settle into each other.
