First, preheat the oven to 320 °F (160 °C) and apply butter or spray on the bottom and sides of a cake pan with removable sides. Once that's done, proceed with the batter.
To make the batter, mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and then separate the egg yolks and whites.
Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until they become stiff. In another bowl, mix the other liquid ingredients.
Combine dry and liquid ingredients using the mixer. Then, add the egg whites mixture slowly and mix gently using a wooden spoon or spatula.
Once you get a nice and even mixture, pour it into the cake pan and bake for approximately 55-60 minutes.
Oreo Cheesecake Frosting
To prepare the frosting, begin by combining all the frosting ingredients except for the Oreo cookies.
Next, take ⅔ of the cream and carefully mix the crumbled Oreo cookies into it. You can use your fingers since the cookies tend to crumble easily. Set aside the remaining cream to use for the sides and top of the cake.
Let the cake cool for an hour after baking, then slice it in half horizontally and allow it to cool some more.
Place the lower cake on the plate, add the Oreo cream, and cover it with the upper cake. Decorate the cake with the remaining frosting and sprinkle Oreo powder on top.
Refrigerate the cake for several hours. It's best not to cut the cake for at least four hours.
