Equipment

  • a baking sheet
  • a sharp knife

Ingredients

  • 4 Lobster Tails
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper to Taste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

Thawing the Tails

  • Place the lobster tails in a sealed container, put them in the fridge, and let them sit overnight.

Preparing the Tails

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Once your lobster tails are thawed, it's time to get prepping! You'll need a sharp knife to split each tail down its length.
  • Be careful not to cut through the tail completely, and make sure you leave the fan shell on one side intact. This will help keep all of those delicious juices inside while they cook.
  • Then, brush softened unsalted butter over them and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Next, place the tails cut-side up onto a baking sheet and bake them for around 15-20 minutes or until the shells turn bright red.
  • If you want, you can serve your lobster tails sprinkled with some lemon juice. If not, consider making one of the dishes recommended in the article. Enjoy!
