After experimenting a lot with Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake Mix, I finally have a recipe for red velvet waffles from the cake mix!

Equipment

  • 1 Hand mixer
  • 1 Waffle maker

Ingredients
  

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • cup Red Velvet Cake Mix

Instructions
 

  • Mix the liquid and dry ingredients separately before merging them. Now add the dry ingredients into the liquid ones, while constantly mixing with a hand mixer.
  • Make sure you preheat the waffle iron and butter it before adding the mixture.
  • The recommended batter dosage is half a cup per waffle, but be cautious if you want to go a bit over or under this dosage. 
  • Bake for two minutes, but if you want crispier waffles, you can prolong this time for one more minute. Monitor the waffles while they cook, and always make sure you follow the waffle iron instructions.
